The reality is that more than 70% of the raw materials for the domestic bio-industry depend on imports. Just by looking at the main ingredients of various diet foods sold in home shopping, you can see that most of them are imported. Countries around the world are strengthening their own biological sovereignty through international agreements such as the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS). Korea, a bi0-industry powerhouse but highly dependent on imports of raw materials, desperately needs to secure priority rights to biological resources through the discovery and industrialization of native plant resources. Development of cultivation technology is necessary to utilize native plants The Baekdudaegan National Arboretum not only exhibits and educates native plants through festivals, but also conducts various researches through specialized research personnel of the Ministry of Forestry and Plant Industry. Thanks to this, we were able to apply for 9 industrialization patents for the use of native plant resources and register 3 cases for 1 year after opening in May 2018. □ 한국수목원관리원 소속 국립백두대간수목원 ( 원장 이종건 ) 은 ' 봉자의 여름꽃 이야기 , 당신에게 희망의 메시지 ' 란 주제로 오는 31 일 부터 8 월 17 일까지 18 일간 '2020 국립백두대간수목원 여름 봉자페스티벌 ' 을 개최한다 . ○ 봉자페스티벌은 봉화 자생식물을 활용한 축제로 , 지역생상 사업의 일환으로 2019 년 시작되었다 . 축제에 식재된 식물은 전량 봉화군내 농가가 위탁생산하고 공급하여 농가소득과 지역 일자리 창출에 큰 기여를 하고 있다 . □ 금 번 축제는 코로나 19 로 헌신한 의료진과 심신이 지친 국민들에게 위로와 감사의 사랑을 전하기 위해 마련되었다 . ○ 축제 기간 동안 전국 의료진에 대한 감사의 의미로 의료진 본인과 동반 1 인은 무료입장 , 추가 동반은 2 인 50% 의 입장료 할인 혜택이 주어지고 수목원 내 가든샵에서 물품 구입 시 10% 할인을 받을 수 있다 . * * 의료진을 증빙할 수 있는 면허증이나 신분증을 반드시 지참해야 한다 . ○ 국립백두대간수목원은 축제 운영 기간 동안 기존 휴관일인 8 월 3 일과 17 일도 특별 개관한다 . □ 주요 정원으로 꼽히는 야생화 언덕에는 수목원에서 개발하고 지역농가가 재배한 흰색과 연분홍색의 털부처꽃 12 만본이 추가 식재되어 이색적인 경관이 연출 될 것으로 기대된다 . ○ 매주 토요일은 힐링 음악회가 개최되고 랜선으로도 공연을 감상할 수 있다 . □ 수목원 측은 코로나 19 방역관리 지침에 따라 발열체크 , 마스크 의무착용 , 관람객 밀접 접촉 가능구역 관람 제한 , 트램 탑승인원 조정 등을 통해 안전하게 행사를 치를 수 있도록 만전을 기할 계획이다 . □ 국립백두대간수목원 이종건 원장은 “ 대한민국 대표 언택트 관광지이자 아시아 최대 규모의 광활한 수목원에서 마음껏 힐링할 수 있도록 축제를 준비했다 .” 며 “ 가족들과 함께 코로나 19 걱정 없이 좋은 추억을 담아 가시길 바란다 .” 고 말했다 . ※작성자 : 대외협력팀/조현철/054-679-0660

□ 산림청 산하 공공기관인 한국수목원관리원 소속 국립백두대간수목원 ( 이사장 겸 국립백두대간수목원 원장 김용하 ) 은 오는 24 일 봉화군 지역 음악 동호회를 초청하여 '6 월 문화가 있는 날 ' 공연 행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다 . □ 국립백두대간수목원은 매월 마지막 주 수요일을 문화가 있는 날로 지정하여 남녀노소 누구나 쉽게 문화를 접하고 즐길 수 있는 환경을 조성함으로써 문화예술을 매개로 관객과 소통하는 어울림의 장을 마련하고 있다 . ○ 국립백두대간수목원 문화가 있는 날은 무료 관람으로 진행되며 , 온 가족 관람을 위해 오후 7 시에 진행된다 . □ 이번 행사는 코로나 19 로 위축된 봉화군 지역 동호회 활동 지원을 위해 마련되었다 . 그동안 코로나 19 로 인해 무대에 서고 싶어도 설 수 없었던 지역 동호회에 공연을 펼칠 수 있는 무대를 제공함으로써 , 출연자와 관람객 모두가 만족할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 전망이다 . ○ 이번 공연에는 3 개 동호회 ( 서벽풀소리동호회 , 동락 , 리버사이드밴드 ) 가 참여하며 , 색소폰 독주 및 합주 , 밴드 연주로 구성된다 . □ 수목원 관계자는 “ 코로나 19 로 지친 지역민의 일상에 활력소가 되고 문화적 허기를 채우는 의미 있는 공연이 될 것이다 .” 며 , “ 생활 속 거리두기 방역체계를 준수하며 안전하게 문화생활을 즐길 수 있도록 최선을 다 하겠다 ” 고 전했다 . ※작성자 : 대외협력팀/조현철/054-679-0660
